25 years of film.
Now with AI.

Andreas Pohl, Creative Lead and Managing Director KI:Visual

A good idea is still the key.

For more than 25 years we have conceived and produced commercials for well-known brands – in concept, direction and design, with multiple awards. We know how strong images and good storytelling come about.

With KI:Visual we bring this experience to a new way of producing. For us, AI is not a substitute for expertise but a multiplier: budgets hardly limit creativity any more, and almost any idea can be realised in cinema quality.

So today every company can afford big cinema – from mid-sized businesses to international brands.

How we work

Every project starts with a conversation, not a prompt. We want to understand what defines your brand, whom you want to reach and what the film needs to achieve. Only then does an idea emerge – and only from the idea, a film.

In production we work like a traditional film crew: with script, storyboard, style development and clear feedback rounds. The difference lies in execution. Instead of camera and set, we direct AI models scene by scene until every frame is right.

This combines the best of two worlds: the care and experience of commercial production with the speed and freedom of generative AI.

Production approach

An international network. One team per project.

KI:Visual works with a network of international creatives, AI filmmakers and directors. For every project we assemble the team that best fits style, subject and ambition.

This combines different signatures and perspectives with a fixed production lead: concept, quality control and your contact stay with us – execution is handled by the specialists who are exactly right for your film.

Directors

Experienced directors from commercials and cinema, responsible for idea and storytelling.

AI filmmakers

Specialists in image and video models who execute every scene with technical precision.

Creatives

Concept developers, art directors, editors and sound designers from different countries.

Production lead

One fixed contact at KI:Visual – for planning, coordination and quality.

Direction

Our directors

Behind every AI film is a signature. Our directors come from commercials, motion design and agencies – and are among the first to use AI at cinema level.

Andreas Pohl is a director, creative director and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience developing visual communication for national and international brands.

His career began in advertising as an account manager before he devoted himself entirely to creative work. Through roles as a graphic designer, editor and motion designer, he became a sought-after creative for film, animation and brand communication.

In 2000 he founded the multi-award-winning motion design studio Sehsucht, where he led numerous national and international productions as creative director and director. Further ventures in film production, animation and post-production followed, in which he led large creative teams and took complex projects from idea to execution.

His particular strength lies in combining strategic brand understanding, visual excellence and emotional storytelling – creating films that don’t just look good, but make brands visible, carry messages and reach people.

After successfully building and selling his own consumer brand PECHKEKS, he returned fully to his original passion in 2024: developing and directing visual content. Today he combines classic filmmaking expertise with state-of-the-art AI – for commercials and brand films that unite creative quality, speed and efficiency in a new way.

New technology. The same instinct for strong ideas.
